HI-LOswitch98, thats not so crazy makes sense. Why buy a vacuum with accessories you are never going to use. You might as well buy the accessories you are going to use, than waste money on the ones you don't!

Apparently it's better to buy a vacuum with the accessories you want to use rather than get them after you have bought the vacuum.

Both the X and the Felix are great with the stair turbo brush, but the Felix hose seems to be harder to use when connected to the main PN. Much prefer using the X hose, even if it is the same length. It seems to be more flexible when the Turbo brush head is added at the end of its hose.

Might just be me.

As suggested already by HiLO I would buy the X1.1 - there simply isn't much difference to either machine - both are good although evdiently the X1.1 is harder to buy on the high street unless you go to specialist shops like Euronics stores - and even then some stores don't have the X1.1 in stock because they prefer you to buy their exclusive X4 Pro.

True which is why I was originally looking at the X4 Pet or X4 Extra/Excel the Pet version having the turbo brush included which I would like.

It's certainly made me think about getting the X1.1 as HI-LOswitch98 suggested and yourself sebo_fan too. I've seen a red X4 at an independent store for £239.99 was looking at that too.

I found the hose on my Felix Classic not to be as stretchable as the extension hose and the hoses I've seen on current Felix models. I contacted SEBO UK and asked if they did a cream version of the inboard hose the same as current Felix Models in terms of it being more stretchable and probably slightly longer. I was told the hoses are stiff to start off with which is not the issue I have and didn't want to replace it at £30 incase it's the same! That's why I would like the hose and wand setup on the X for instant use to use along skirting boards etc... without having to bend down! That aside I love the Felix.

Nice find, Beckham! Hope you like it. As you probably already know, Sebo are on of my favourites.

Jon, I've found there's really no difference at all in terms of performance between the x1.1 and the x4. I think you might notice the 150w difference if you use the Turbo brush on the extension hose, but other than that, the difference is so minimal it's not noticeable.

We have 2 x1.1's. The standard model and the red Euronics exclusive.

Thanks Chris! Yes I would have guessed Sebo s your favourite haha :D

My parts should be here tomorrow & then it will be put to good use. It is sooo quiet too.

LOL, Beckham, and here I was thinking I was being so discreet ;). My mother has a Sebo Felix too.

@electroluxxxx, the x1.1 is pictured above and comes as you see it, with the 2 tools and an 1150w motor. The x4 comes with the extension hose and dusting brush as standard and a 1300w motor.

There is hardly any difference except the higher motor power, different colour, more expensive price & I think the X4 has extra accessories too.

Doubt it Chris, but on that thread could hardly believe the amount of dust the Sebo got out of those carpets when you took a picture of the open dust bag!

How long is the cord on an X1.1 BTW?

Beckham...

<span style="font-size: medium; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #000000;">...I know hardly anything about Sebo's, but you definately got a good deal there! Well done!</span>

Beckham, 10 metres I believe. I know I can use 1 plug socket to reach around the whole of my house (although I won't be able to do that when I move next month).

Jacob, anything you want to know, just ask :).
