Hey guys!
It's been years since I posted on here but I thought I'd log on and share with you my current setup.
So my house vacuums are all from the Sebo commercial range.
I have the D8 with optional turbo brush, large dusting brush and twin care nozzle.
The upright XP20 with optional large dusting brush.
And the Dart which I have kitted out with the parquet nozzle, Felix tool holder and optional upholstery tool.
These are all commercial machines here in the UK and have slight differences to their domestic versions.
The D8 has a user replaceable plugged cable system and no cord rewind. You wrap the cord around the hooks as shown in one of the pics. No built in dusting brush due to the cord setup and the dust bag lid isn't hinged and comes away from the machine completely when changing the bag.
The Dart has a fixed height handle unlike the adjustable height on the Felix. The power switch is on/off only so no variable power and the brush roll motor only shuts off when the machine is in the upright position. Oh and it is only supplied with the crevice tool. The Dart has the swivel neck still which makes it really nice in tight spaces.
The XP20 is pretty much the same as the domestic X8 other than high visibility cable and slightly redesigned housing with a larger furniture guard.
They all have their uses. If it's just a quick vacuum round and the house isn't too messy I like to use the XP20 as it adjusts to every floor type and I like the wider head.
More in depth cleans I like the versatility of the Dart and D8.
I've got the two Bissell machines for wet cleaning. Revolution Pet Pro and Spotclean Pet Pro. I absolutely love these and feel they are the best on the market at the moment for the domestic sector. I don't bother using the tools for the upright cleaner as the Spotclean is so easy to grab and go. I mostly use the Spotclean for the stairs and car mats.
And then for the car I have a Numatic George. George is a 3in1 machine however I'm not a fan of him for carpet washing and much prefer the Bissell setup I have. George was bought purely for the car and has only ever been used as such.... I've not even used any of his tools as I preferred to kit him out with 3 Dyson accessories as I felt these were better suited to what I wanted for use in the car. He is also there for backup in case we have a flood or anything and will be used when I do DIY or house renovations.
