Got a good condition Sebo X1.1 today from a car boot or £15 (also purchased a Vax Air Reach as a 2 for £30 deal). Everything works great however the machine needs:

New Exhaust Filter,
Exhaust filter cover,
Crevice tool,
Foot pedal.

At least the automatic height adjustment works, & there are barely any scratches on the machine, possibly due to the white colour.

Wow, good find!

The white colour is precisely why I like it - my K3 Premium doesn't look that old because of the white colour and I've often recommended the white X1.1 for the same reason.

You should have no problems in getting spare parts for this vacuum.

Great find/purchase hi-loswitch98, glad it's in good working order and the automatic high adjustment works fine too. Doesn't look that old!? Has the foot pedal broke off?

There is no foot pedal to recline the machine with. See picture. It dosen't look old at all no.

I have also bought spares for the machine, every single one I needed. Brilliant.

Just wondering if it is worth getting the X1.1 over any of the X4's as I already have the extension hose and a dusting brush. I could just purchase a turbo tool which I'm thinking of getting anyway to use with my Felix and upgrade the pre motor filter to a charcoal one. Although I don't have a charcaol filter in my Felix and I don't really get a smell of pet odour!

I'm right in thinking you can't tell any difference in performance even though there is a slight difference in motor wattage!?

Oh no there isn't, gosh clearly gone! Thanks for showing picture of that. No it doesn't, I thought that. That fab back to full working order with all these parts needed.

I usually tell if a X Series is relatively new due to the orange foot pedal (probably not a good way I know!), older ones they where grey if I'm right in thinking! Not sure when they introduced the orange foot pedal?

Well I just tested it & it sounded slightly quieter than the X4 but no suction difference. They are essentially the same machine. If I were you I would buy the X1.1 because its cheaper & if you already have accessories plus the white colour means you can't see scratches.

Thats good to know for definite the X1.1 has no suction difference and its slightly quieter too compared to the X4. I do like the white colour, they do a X1.1 red colour for independent retailers. I see you can pickup the X1.1 for £200 new not bad. The white would go nicely with my Felix Classic! Thats true hide the scraps and scratches.

Nice! Hpe you enjoy
There were 3 cheap henrys today undr £20 with the floor tool hse and everything! only one was henry with hose £20
DC01 £10

Ok thanks for the tip hi-loswitch98 will bare that in mind, I've always disregarded the X1.1 mainly due to the additional tools you don't get with it which I already have some of for my Felix.

Today there was:

Hoover Turbopower (Red, 80's) & Turbopower 1000,
90's Henry HVR200,
Vax Swift,
Hoover Jazz,
Sebo X1.1 & Vax Air Reach (MINE),
Electrolux Cyclone 1800w,
Hoover Smart,
Dyson DC07 Red & Purple (bin full of crap),
Dyson DC24 Exclusive (dirty condition, nothing wrong with it),
Russell Hobbs 'Cyclonic' 1800w Upright,

Good if you were after 80's & 90's Hoover Turbopowers! Loads of them there!

(Alex would have had a field day)

Nice X1.1, I'm sure you will fix it up just fine!

BTW - what was the Turbopower 1000 like, and was the red 80's Turbopower any good as well?

The TP1000 had the permabag & autosense, but it was quite dirty.

All the 80's Turbopowers were red & quite good condition, clean. But they didn't sell.

madaboutsebo crazy at it sounds I normally buy accessories after I buy the machine then you can choose which ones you want rather than have accessories that sit unused. Like on the Hotpoint Cleaner I only use the Combination Head & leave the other two unused. Not missing much considering the Turbo Nozzle & Hard Floor Tool are generic copies.
