Dysondestijl you are so awesome! Thanks!!!! Oh my god, I am happy now, however i am not sure if this DC07 is worth £314? even a DC24 is worth about £230 today

Well the £314 dco7 is worth it, as the dc24 you mentioned is no where near as good, and dc24's are everywhere, where do you find Bnib dco7's now? Also, if you keep it for another few years it will probably be worth much more than £300! Only 1 left now! Also the new dyson are really expensive now anyway, so it would be worthwile!

I had a DC01 destijl which I gave to my Relative who looks after vacuums properly (plastic not breaking and pushes the with care I mean)
DC01 Standrard YDK
Bissell easy vac came with the DC01 for free!
DC02 standard all mint and complete with looking brand new tools

DC03 WANTED i had a standard in 2006 though
DC04 silver lime bought brand new 1 year 1/2 ago

Dyson DC04 abspolute purple and green i loved in 2008 (blew up)
Dyson DC05 gone to the scrap after it blew up after 4 mins of coming home

I was soo close to getting the most immaculate DC01 de stijl I even seen at the carboots! It had everything original, even the soleplate was red, the cable was purple and even had the little yellow grommet thing all for £10!

Dirt Devil handy zip £9 needs a belt, has everything though (yes everything ) even the warranty out of date an instructions etc

Proline UVC18 bagless upright (best non Dyson vacuum I used!) £15 awesome trust me (improved Argos value range kind of modified)

The Proline UVC18 you speak of is actually a Vax upright, catalogue only model. I raised that some time ago on here regarding it as Vax have a cheek to price it at £139 compared to the Comet/Currys model.
