He got me a DC25 Animal last year from currys and now this DC07 will be amazing, I am just really happy.

wow its at 105.00 now i thought you already had this one tayyab?? ah well good luck also how much did you pay for your dc25? mine was free lol, just tell him you'll use this 07 everyday if he buys it for you!!

Two words: Over priced. Another two: Over rated.

Sorry but it's true.

You can pick those up if you really wanted to (but, why!?) for about £40-50 in good condition used.

That seems a bit overpriced to me. Compared to today's models, the DC07 is very outdated. It is my understanding that even when these were new(which wasn't that long ago) the DC07 was not very well received. They were huge here in America, but only because it was the first Dyson available here.

Dysondestijl: thanks mate:) my dc25 was £260 you are so lucky u got it free lol :)

Jamie: Thanks for the tips, however this one s definately perfect and will deffo not have been taken apart by others and has everything you need for it, the used ones might have diff parts but thanks :)

bagintheback: the DC07 in the link is non clutched which means it is the powerful one, and even at £105? the DC07 old for £300 approx and this is about 1/3 of the price

Its up to £155 now - and dont forget, that although its still in the box, its been around for a few years now, and whoever wins it, will probably have to replace the drivebelt, as the one thats on it will have got stretched by now.

The DC07 was huge in this country, I dont know why Bagintheback thinks that it wasnt popular here.
They are about the most common Dyson to be for sale on Ebay at any one time, thats how many people bought them. They are very powerful cleaners - especially the non clutch models (which had a non-bleed soleplate so could raise carpets) and aside from a couple of flaws like brittle bin handles and extreme noise, they were a very good cleaner. I still use the same model as above myself, which I got for just £20 with very little wear - just a damaged cable.

I love the dc07 as well, In non clutched for it had a powerfull brush roll They also had a huge bin, A mate of mine that does dry carpet cleaning only uses the dc07 non clutch models, They are used every day all day without any serious problems.

We use a dc07 clutched model with the USA brush roll and sole plate to clean our shop, Its great

The DC07

Back in its day, I'm sure I read in a which report that the DC07 gave one of the highest dust removals that they had tested. It was between 75-85%. But don't quote me on that!

I used a clutch model when I cleaned houses. I used to do 14houses, a mill and two clinics a week and this thing worked great. It was hammered and gave great years of service.

Jamie, no word of I lie I actually think you have Aspergers. I really don't mean that offensively. I think it's more or less every time I read one of your responses. It's Christmas so sharing is caring.

Happy holidays!

My son has aspergers , One of the known symptoms is having to always put others views down. My wife and I are currently dealing with a ten year old who knows more that your average teenager. I find your comment very interesting :)

OH GOD

YOU ARE KILLIN ME! where did u get the dc01? I love them Tell me all about it I wanted one for over a year now

The DC01...

I brought it in my previous job but never really used it as I decided it might be collectable in the future.
Am currently starting the process of downsizing the collection so it may be heading for Ebay at some point...
