So I'm wondering what part I would need to convert a central vacuum (early 80's Beam) to a bagged unit? It has one intake port on the left and no stub or anything inside - like the intake port is flush with the inside of the canister on the inside.
I'm amazed at how much of a pain the inverted bag filter is / how dirty it gets. It is the original filter ... but still a messy messy task - and it doesn't take long for the tank to fill with fluffed up cat hair!
In a related note, does anyone know what the bag system is like on the Canavac CLS 750

It looks like a bottom motor / top fill - but does it have good airflow like a CVI / MD unit (like I've read testimonials on here!)? Is the bag suspended by a filter? I'm not in any rush - just doing casual research for what my next power unit may be - you never know when you'll stumble upon the next deal of the century
