Anybody seen one of these before?

It would appear to be two sanitaires literally bolted together complete with separate bags, handles, etc. It is missing the steel bottom plates though, but otherwise just looks like two sanitaires bolted together.

I've seen them before, they're made for large open offices to do more cleaning in less time, though of course they're not available new any more... :)

And yes, they're just two Sanitaires bolted together into one monster machine, fitted with a lawnmower-style handle (not visible in that picture), I'm sure they're pretty fun machines to use... :P

Yes,seen vacuums like these before-Both Hoover and Eureka.I have a Powerflite 24" wide vacuum.Has one 10A motor and large metal fan.The fan is on one end of the motor-brushroll pulley on the other end.At one time the wide sweep Eurekas and Hoovers could be ordred thru Graingers.don't think either makes these anymore.NSS also makes wide sweep vacuums.

Most everyone has the right idea. It is simply two standard sanitaires with an odd ball hood and backing screwed (not bolted) onto two machines. The housings are connected at the base and it is just like pushing two machines at the same time.

I've occasionally pondered the idea of taking two aftermarket-rebuilt Hoover Juniors (the ones with the really cheap, flimsy plastic hoods like my no-model Junior) and bolting them together to make a silly looking "commercial" machine, no real point to it, just one of them "cos I can" things... :P

why not, when we owned our carpet cleaning company we had a few huge halls to clean , I bolted together 2 sebo  g1's I had loads and we had a time limit to clean the place.

That's just two f & g uprights fused together for large halls. Just push it forward like a push mower. I have not seen one of these in years and is rare. I would love to have one.

Well, the Why not is pretty easy, I only have 2 Hoover Juniors, 1 a plastic base aftermarket-rebuilt Junior, the other's a mostly original Metal based 1334 I don't really want to drill holes into... :S

It's just one of them "thought projects", I think about it, but it never really happens... :P

The ad has been there for awhile. Are you thinking of going to get it if it's still available? I was but I'm trying to downsize and secondly I'd probably be killed before it got into the house or shortly afterwards. Hard to hide a thing like that.
