NO, NO, NO!! IT'S PRONOUNCED Ra-GEE-na!!!! :)

OK, Just wondering if there are any Regina Collectors, more specifically REGINA ELECTRIC BROOM collectors. I have two NOS genuine Regina Electric Broom BAGS, one MAROON, the other more OFF-WHITE W/ Maroon lettering that I will happily bring to North Canton if someone has the need for these. My only requirement is to share each with someone who has an actual need/use for these, as in restoring an Electric Broom, rather than just 'keeping it' which benefits no one. They are both new/unused! I believe the Maroon version is from the 40's. Rick

I like Regina

i got 2 old grey Housekeepers with the L Shaped Nozzle and a Cream Colored Powerteam Dual Motor Electric Broom

Rick, I remember the burgandy Regina from the early 1950's magazine adv. and an old uncle who had one. Would really
like to see old burgandy one. Dose it work?

Regina

I have a couple Regina uprights, models 39 and 59, with attachments. The 39 runs great, the 59 doesn't run, just hums. Also have almost complete attachments for both, but only one suction coupler between the two. They were both given to me by a friend I used to work with.

I'll Gladly Take Them Off Your Hands.

Rick,
I'm raising my hand!!!
I'd love to buy the Regina bags from you.
I have several Electric Brooms, including a model K.
I always loved these machines as a kid.
We didn't have one but several of my aunts had them.
I was always bugging them to vacuum their kitchens.
I especially like the models from the mid 50s thru the mid to later 60s.
I do have plans for rebuilding a few machines so the bags would come in very handy.
Also, I'd be interested in any other Regina parts you might have i.e. dust cups, nozzles, brushes, etc.
Thanks a ton.
Looking forward to seeing you at convention!!
Pat

Hello Norm

Actually, the New old Stock that I was referring to (above) are bags (only) not the entire machine, though I have seen a few. Your post tells me that the maroon one was indeed from the (early) 50's, not 40's as I had assumed. I'm always happy to learn the dates of these machines (and, in this case, bags!) Thanks for sharing.

We have a winner!

Pat, you now officially hold title to the two Regina bags! I am thrilled to find someone who can really utilize these. They had come from the Old ACE Vacuum Store clean-out (Glendale, CA) that Marc Turbyfill so generously shared with the SoCal 'chapter'. Enjoy, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing you in NORTH CANTON!

Regina Electrikbrooms

I would definately call myself a Regina collector, specifically Electrikbrooms. I have a 1945 Model one, Model K, Model L, several Model 600's and everything else in between right up to the very last true Electrikbroom from 1992. If you or anyone come across the tan Model L or 600 bags please let me know as mine are pretty stained and tattered and faded. I know have in my possesion 151 Electrikbrooms and have restored around 50 of them to date. I have several posts of my collection in the 2008 archives and will be posting new pics soon in my new house and vacuum room.
