VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

That's a lot more expensive than I expected when I first discovered this brand of vacuum. You could have almost any vacuum you want for that price. They still have not replyed to my motor fan stage design inquiry yet so I still can't say how the motor works. After looking over the features for the 10th time since my original post, it occoured to me that some of the features would not work too well, like the cyclonic action and the dry clean option. It would still be a nice machine if the price were lower. The $299.99 for an used one on ebay seems quite decent by comparison.

THE ANSWER HAS ARRIVED!!!

I got my response from modern vac and they had a very intersting answer! I have quoted their reply below.

"To Mr. Erick Allen.

Re. Your question about a 3-stage fan motor, you are correct it is very uncommon in portable vacuum, I have made a terrible mistake, and sincerely apologia for it, is 2- stage, motor .I also notice the same mistake in our web page we need to correct immediately,I want to thank you,for your enlighten and asking the question. Please accept my apologies it is straight from my hart.

Sincerely yours

Demetrio. per Modernvac Inc."

It does not have a 3 stage motor after all. This makes things a bit more simple and common on this machine and explains quite a lot.

In my experience, UK/European Electroluxes wern't anything special (mostly) regarding features, it was more of a quality thing. I imagine this thing is still quite well made, as they say its from sweden I do wonder which company actually makes it because its definately not Electrolux.
