Rear view

I was looking out my office window (1st Floor) at the skip (dumpster) that was next door where they were moving out. I noticed a grey cleaner, was it a Panasonic? ...no, maybe a Turbopower. I had a rule that I would not go beyond the 1104 Junior and the last Senior, but it was there, and for free ...

Closeup 2

It has an interesting arrangement where the brushroll belt is physically moved over the drive roller when the handle is lowered. I will do pics of this later, but there is also a control to stop this happening when cleaning hard floors

The other one ....

Remember my rule about no Turbo powers .... Well this cropped up on ebay recently, close enough to easily collect and at the bargan price of £1.24 (thats less than $2.00)I could not resist this little beauty

No, not at all

It appears to be working fine, excepting that I think it needs a new headlight. The business next door closed down (it was a branch so staff were transferred elsewhere) and the building was cleared for re-furbishment. It was not the only thing that I got from the skip, but no more cleaners. I hate to see things wasted when clearly they still have useful life in them, not to mention the envoirnmental considerations.

To replace the headlight bulb, you need to remove the whole hood, not just the lens cover.

I think you need to remove the agitator first and undo four or five screws.

The Turbomaster you have is the Electricity Board exclusive version, hence the fitted Hoover branded plug.

Hey Al! Great finds - do NOT let anyone talk that TM out of your hands! ;p

Roger, I have to disagree with you; I'm 99.99% sure that if you take the lens cover off, the bulb should pull out of the socket, and a new one will push straight in.

Al, if you can wait, I'll show you how to do the bulb when I see you next week!
