You can also use a cosmetic/makeup rounds--the flat ones. Get them at the dollar stores or WallyWorld. Then, you can use any of those oil fragrances sold in the small bottles with the dropper. For some you may have to buy the dropper separately. Or simply put the round cotton over the oil bottle and turn upside down for a second. Insert into the canister bag or in the Kirbys I sometimes place them on top of the disposable bag at the top where it dents and let it sit there.
Also, you can use those small bridal netty type bags with the draw string. This is handy for the Kirby as you can hang it from the bag support hook. Sometimes you can find those muslin bags that the chocolate coins used to come in at Christmas and put any kind of tablet, cotton ball, flat rounds, pellets---you name it--in there and just place it near the disposable bag.
Works well. OR another trick is take the sample cologne cards that come in the Kohl's or Macy's flyers and cut them up into small pieces. I just rip them up and then suck them up! These are also heavenly placed in between your towels in the linen closet. I use the women's samples as I prefer to use the men's ones for me!
