Here is a picture of my extremely rare silver Electrolux Model L, a machine made in 1973. I am not aware of any others in existence.

Sources deep within the Electrolux design department say it was the inspiration for the later Electrolux Silverado model.

I Know next to nothing about Electroluxes..

But I'd have to say.. I think Someone went to town with a wire wheel... It looks like that honestly..

I use a variety of Wire wheels repairing and restoring Small engines and I'd have to say, That looks like a fairly fine wheel was used.. Maybe a 4 or a 6?

The handle is the wrong color for a 1973 machine, as is the color of the paint used on the lettering of the word "electrolux".

The only thing "rare" about this cleaner is it's owner! Some nerve coming on here thinking we would be foolish enough to believe his story when he shows a scratched-up Electrolux that's obviously been spray painted. Better luck next time spinning your false tales :P

I don't care what anyone says

I think it's fabulous. There were so many of them, this variation
is fun! All the Luxes hold a special place in my heart, but the L has the best attributes of them all. Lightweight, powerful and totally functional. Thanks!

The L

Ran for a long time. A tribute to its value. Here is one of my favorites, the blue L with the cord winder. I had a brand new gold L as well when I had a brand new Super J. A fine machine. Mine didn't have colored lettering on the sides. I filled it in.
