Can we know where said crown came from?

It looks great btw.  Super clean.  Doesn't appear to have any dents or scratches which tends to happen to these cute lil' luxes.

Doesn't the "deluxe" moniker as stamped on the box imply that it included a power nozzle?

Is this for display purposes only?  It looks too nice to use, imo.

Wow

Nice condition on this. My Brother had one of these with the cordwinder on it but it was beat to hell and the motor made weird noises when turning on and shutting off...you know, the bearing grinding sounds. The cord end had come off on his but he hadn’t yet replaced it....I brought him a nice Aerus Lux Classic I got at Goodwill last summer over the holidays and it’s a vast improvement so we decided the 1453 could go on to the dump...it had really seen much better days. He has a Silverado too and dint need three vacuums for his two story house.

I’d like to find a cordwinder free 1453 in the Diamond Jubilee era colors. I know these are rare. I remember seeing one brand new on display when I bought my Mom the new L shaped power nozzle for her Birthday for her Model L from the Electrolux store in 1986. The old pn-1 had all sorts of issues...we had made several trips to the store to get it worked on. Anyway I thought ithat 1453 had nice coloring at time.
