Rob,

you are a very easy guest to have in a home. This, I know.I never knew, though, that you lie to vacuum the diningroom AFTER dinner. I'll remember that for the next time. Instead of "after dinner mint?", I'll say,"After dinner vacuum"?There are many here from which to choose. Some of our mini meets saw dinner at the kitchen table. Here's a memory from yrs ago. I didn't know you back then. We even had HOOVER fondue!

You are too kind John!!!

Crepes are wonderful!!! What sort of filling was in the Hoover Crepes? I love the spread at your meals but now you have me enticed on the milk shakes, fondues and other Hoover dishes!! Vacuuming anywhere is fun. Usually after your dinners John we all tend to hang out in the living room and it does get its fair share of cleaning, 1st from the foreign species and lastly with usually a mixture of a Hoover Power nozzle canister, and Convertible. Your Decade 800 and Guardsman do a bang up job as I'm sure you're well aware!! Sometime I'll have to try one of your orange commercial units. I don't recall ever using one of those. Following numerous dinners at my parents house I used to vacuum the dining room at my house after family gatherings and I did the same on numerous occasions at my grandmoms and aunts. While our Labrador Retrievers did a great job of most of it, there was always some food that the Hoovers would find keeping the homes pest free from unwanted tiny insects.

Anything I can ever do to help at a MiniMeet feel free to ask!! I don't like for a host to have to do it all. Friends helping friends is great!

The crepes have ben filled with

ham and cheese. I'm also known for whipping up a mean Mocha crepe! Some time when you're here. I have a few 'Commercial" cleaners: Red Guardsman, Portapower, including one NEW IN BOX. Thee are a few uprights, too. One is a beautiful gifet from Rick Asquith. You'll see a nice selection, and may use them all if you'd like. I plan to get that tan Celebrity up and going. I also have 4 of those big heavy British Commercials!!

Hoover Hoods!!!

The Hoover hoods are terrific for snacks: pretzels, chips. I could even see a towel inside and using them as a garlic bread holder!!! Or we could go diner style and instead of basket of fries or 21 shrimp in a basket it could be 21 Shrimp in a hood-- put some wax paper inside!! Fries or potato wedges, fried shrimp, breaded haddock---oooohh. I'll bring the coleslaw if we do this, what would fish and chips be without coleslaw and of course a good Cocktail sauce???? If we do Chicken fingers then I'll take some of your fine Italian pasta sauce for dipping. No honey mustard here, but thanks anyway!!

I usually think of crepes as dessert. Not sure I've heard of a ham and cheese crepe but really it's whatever you stuffed it with. We could a chicken florentine crepe then I supposed! Or maybe a BLT Crepe. Dessert style or brunch stuff is always fun: blueberries, peaches, rasberries, whipped cream. All this food is making me Verklempt. Bad timing for going to bed. Crepes with ..... you fill in the blank, Discuss!!!

Joel and Chris could do a bang up job on the tan Celebrity's motors and electical system and entire machine. I'd be glad to help with the power head, cleaning and new foam insulation.

I've seen a few of your Portapowers and your Guardsman upright. I know that you have some of those Orange colored commerical units with black colored bumper. I think one of them is in your dining room closet. Would be fun to try one of those. And if you have the relish model, I'd love to try that!!!

Oh yes fun times ahead whenever we meet again. Till we Meet Again!!!

Dear god I looked awful in that picture.........not too sure I appreciate that being dug up from the bowels of hell.

Can you believe that was 6 or 7 years ago already?

(For anybody wondering or who has not seen a recent photograph of me, I swear I don't look like a textbook dork anymore)

You had to mention those HOOVER milkshakes, John!

Oh, the yummy memories of my first mini-meet at your wonderful home! Sounds to me like you've been keeping quite busy -- good for you! :)

You are an excellent host and a damn good cook, John. Mere words alone can't say how much I appreciate you for that.

Hoping to see you again soon.
