I would advise you to periodically check with your local vacuum stores to see if they happen to have any trade-ins with red trim. Thrift stores and Craigslist are also good places to frequent; although you'll need to be patient. The Model 560 is now 55 years old and is the second to the last cleaner of the red-trimmed 500-series, so its circulation is well past its prime.

If you have a more robust budget then keep checking eBay or other online auction sites.

Regarding the fan materials I refer you to this Vacuumland thread: http://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?23261_38

Best regards.

Painting Kirby trim

When I restored my 509 I took Eurekastar's suggestion and used SEM automotive paint for vinyl interiors. It is excellent and remains flexible and tough. He suggests using Portola red. I also used the recommended SEM prespray to promote adhesion. You can find it on the internet or get it from auto parts stores.

red trim-----fan

I have a set of red trim ---new----no that fan is not for your vac . But the fan blade itself will work using your other parts. If your fan is not broken leave it. you won't gain enough to worry. Rule no 1 if it isn't broke don't fit it. If it's working leave it alone. That is 60+ yrs working on things advise
