When I saw this old beauty on eBay I could not pass it up, and considering I won the auction for the starting bid of £4.99 I think I just got myself a great bargain.
Normally this is where I would write paragraphs about it, but given that I know absolutely nothing about Hoover's heater line other than that going by the serial number (if it is the same as the vacuums) it was made in 1984 (I doubt it would be '74 or '94) and is a heater-only with no option to use as a cold fan as I have seen on some models, and has low and high heat settings.
I've plugged it in and it works perfectly and is QUIET. I had worried that the fan bearing may be seized or worn out but it displays no symptoms of that whatsoever, you would almost not know it is a fan heater if there were other noises going on in the background.
Please find below pictures (apologies for the lower than usual quality, I had leaving drinks with my ex-colleagues last night and my hands aren't terribly steady today!) including one of the information sticker which may be useful to some of you.
As usual, I simply want to know as much about it (and its sister models if there were any) as possible.
