these are about the only good boxed machines. even when the dust cup filter is clogged tight it still has alot of suction, bagged version i think would be even better.

NEVER EVER JB weld ANYTHING!!! especially a wear or maintnence item. use RTV black silicone, it will keep parts from moving around, however the wheel can be removed if needed. RTV is rubbery and resiliant perfect if you just need to keep tolerances down.

if its a simple two wire switch, just twist them togather and forget. if its a circuit breaker, check to see what is causing the overheating, if you cant find a problem bypass the breaker (or replace it) my parents had one for a few weeks, it was cool, but it clogged pretty easy.
