    What happened to the OnePwr?

I have this machine too, and I think it’s one of the better options for cordless carpet cleaning. Particularly at the Hoover price point. I don’t understand why they aren’t more popular. I hope they bring them back. My only wish-list item for this vacuum would be the ability to charge the...

What’s the best way to sell refurbished vacuum cleaners in today’s market?

I have the best luck with FB Marketplace: It gets the best reach of users, and you don't get near the spam or flakes like you do on CraigsList. You could also try apps like OfferUp, although I don't have very good luck there. If you live in a larger metro area I'd try and sell locally. I stick...

Need to replace a Sebo Felix...

Hi Tseg, I own both a Felix and an X7, and am happy to share my thoughts. I agree that the X7 addresses most of your critiques of the Felix, although it is still somewhat top heavy since the hose intake is on the top of the machine. You are correct, you cannot shut off the brush roll and if your...

    New Upright Recommendation

Sebo Felix! I'll join N0oxy and Undecided and recommend the Sebo Felix. It's a great upright choice for hard floor use.

    RainbowMate 12

I have the same RM-12 RainbowMate, and have never experienced it doing that. That doesn't sound like normal behavior. In my experience, the RainbowMate accessories are sufficiently powered, and rattle less than any of the Lux SideKick or StairPro accessories I've used on other machines. (And...

The Rainbow SRX, thank you ElectroluxxxMike!

@luxmanmatt - Congratulations on your purchase! Most of us that own the SRX seem to like it, so don't let all the negative replies to your announcement spoil your purchase. The Power Nozzle isn't well sealed, so use the dedicated floor tool on hard floors. Not every innovation on the SRX is a...

    Parents new Rainbow

Tekjunkie28 - that's really interesting, I was not aware they'd made a change to the motor wattage on the E2 Black. I come across them periodically, I'll have to start plugging them into my Kill-A-Watt to locate one and compare. Thanks for sharing!

    Parents new Rainbow

@juju93 My SRX was fixed under the recall, and it does not get warm in the same way it did before the recall modification. It used to get warm on the top of the machine under the handle, and now gets warm on one side of the unit (I don't recall which side, but I can check it if you'd like me...

    Rainbow Air purifier mode.

I've used a Rainbow in the low-speed air cleaner mode off and on a lot since ~2006, and rarely see anything for visible dirt in the water. That never surprised me, since most airborne dust is so small, and low speed operates at such a low CFM anyway. For comparison- If your average HEPA air...

    SEBO Felix hose not sealed?

Congrats on the Felix! They're a great machine! I have a Felix and it doesn't do that, but I also have a Sebo X4 and it does the exact same thing yours does! The X4's hose connection to the machine body is similar, but not identical, to the connection on the Felix. I've tried removing the...

Sebo's and... Baking Powder (Advice Needed)

Mark... Clean air (or "Bypass") machines pass the working air through the bag/filtration medium prior to hitting the vacuum fans. Conversely, dirty air (or "direct air") machines pass the air through the vacuum fans before hitting the bag. Machines with a puffy bag are direct air/dirty air...

Opinions Wanted: Rug Doctor vs. Bissell Big Green

Big Green user I have the Big Green machine and have been happy with it. It does a nice job and the hose is easily added/removed for stairs and spot cleaning. The machine's air paths are also easily accessible for cleaning. I've used a rental Rug Doctor in the past, and was happy enough with...

Bissell Crosswave and wood floors question.

I recall reading that real hardwood is fairly susceptible to water damage, so routinely soaking the floor is not advisable. This becomes a greater risk as the wood ages and larger gaps appear between the planks. The Crosswave puts down a lot of liquid, but since it sucks it back up, that should...

Bissell Crosswave and wood floors question.

Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner I’ve had luck with Bona Hardwood cleaner, although it might be really expensive unless you dilute it. It’s designed to be misted/sprayed onto the hardwood rather than wet-mopped. Several of my family members swear by diluted white vinegar as well.

    The SRX has been tested

Bill My “embarrassment” is rated “11.5 amps, 12.0A with appliance outlet”. (120v) I agree it’s strange to be using so little electricity, when it’s performance could surely be improved with increased power. Perhaps the heat issue came up late in development and they tuned down the motor in...

    The SRX has been tested

    Wattage I don't have a kill-a-watt, but I have a Wemo smart outlet that displays realtime watts consumed. Here is what my machine uses: On High speed: - no hose attached: 756 W - hose attached: 765 W - w/ PN running: 975 W With no hose attached: Speed 3: 392 W Speed 2: 150 W Speed 1: 23 W...

    Rainbow SRX Recalled

@juju93 I hope you're able to get your machine repaired soon! I'd reach out to your Distributor if you haven't already and see if they can get you scheduled. The recall is still on Rainbow's website, but they've pulled it off the homepage. I agree that it seems premature to do that. It's in...

    Rainbow SRX Recalled

My Recall Experience Hi all. I'll share my recall repair experience for anyone interested: I contacted my Rep on the 18th, and she came and did my repair in-home on the 25th. As @vacman1970 said, it was very quick. They insert a little air deflector into a vent into the motor housing under the...

    My New Rainbow SRX 🌈

@mark40511 I have the 14 foot electric hose for my SRX. My rep didn't mention a non-electric hose option, so I don't think they're making one, although I'm not positive.

    My New Rainbow SRX 🌈

I was wrong A wand from my old E2 does click into the wands and powerhead of the SRX. :) I can’t test connecting anything electrical because I only have a wand from my old machine, but the wands fit! Good luck!
