    My Fiat abarth

About 8 months ago I decided to buy myself something new, fun, cute and quick. I bought a 2013 Fiat Abarth. Its an itty bitty little thing, thats for sure. But don't let looks deceive you. This is not just a Fiat 500. Turbocharged 5 speed sporty car! Its loud and quick from the factory. 170...

Hey guys, Kyle asks of you to email offers. Posting a reply asking about price probably will not get a response. Just an FYI.

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever"

Reminds me of my D80 I used to have! I regret selling it. Ended up with a whole complete unused tool set after I sold it too. Would have matched my machine which was in similar shape to the one above! I had about a little more than half of that into mine. Beauty costs a lot, thats for sure.

    Mowed for the first time

Thats a nice Honda! They are just about the best lawn mower you can buy! I would love one but they tend to be on the pricier side. We use a Toro thats about 12 years old. It's due for a good service. It is getting loud, and the wheels are pretty much worn off. It has been through a lot! Have...

    The largest dustbag ?

I think the Hoover model 0 could take the cake for that. It had a pretty large cylinder shaped bag. Also the Hoover Conquest has a massive bag too.

does hoover still make the constalatoin?

I dont think it actually came with a power nozzle, it just had an on/off switch in the handle. The new constellations are a very powerful machine. It really is a shame they didn't last. But in todays society, most people don't a large machine that floats all around. They do generate good lift...

    Grand Piano cleaning

Jo, you are a well educated man! Great tips here. I have always wondered how to clean the innards of a grand. My old baldwin H grand I had was very dusty but I never really cleaned it up for fear of damaging something!

    Celebratory Celebrity Find!

Gorgeous machine! You did a superb job restoring it! I cant get into detail like you can. Every machine you work on turns into a crown jewel! Congrats on the great find!

    Guess what i got!!

I had the opportunity to use a Spangler suction sweeper, the predecessor to this machine. Same machine just black, red and gold. It ran almost inaudibly. The belt on that machine was original and petrified so the brushroll didn't turn. If you have ever used one of the early 1900s or late...

    Guess what i got!!

Matthew, The Hoover model O operates just the same as any later hoover fan first type machine. Its an emerson fan turned on its side and the blades are pitched more to create suction, and a belt drives the brush roll. The machine, since using an electric fan, operates almost inaudibly. They...
