The answer is NO.  The diameter of the Kirby bag collar is larger than the Hoover bag adapter.  The bag will probably blow right off.  

Yes, the Hoover Constellation is very quiet too.  In fact, when people are at my house, looking at my vacuum collection, I always pull out the Constellation and fire it up.  After seeing it in operation, they begin to understand that I can be FUN to collect vacuums!

The Electrolux Model XXX and Model G are definitely two of the quietest for me.  However, add the power nozzle to the Model G and the decibels go through the roof!

My only concern with the newer model Tristars is with the wands.  I personally have never had a problem, but I've read about problems from others.  The plastic wants are kind of clunky and prone to short out.  I installed one of the new brushless motors in mine and it works great.  It seems like...

I drilled an extra hole in this Eureka wand so that it would fit the Tristar hose.  Now I can use a Eureka Power Nozzle with a Tristar hose on a Silver King vacuum! 

Conversion Cord I finally found a Rainbow conversion cord on Ebay!  It is the perfect solution for converting to a Tristar hose.

When you remove the nozzle, you'll see a safety switch on the fan case.  That switch will have either one button or two.  The number of buttons on the switch will help narrow it a little.

@ Dysonman1 Thanks for the tip!  The filters that came with it were stained with some kind of liquid.  I'm sure they're fine, but I'll go ahead and order some new ones. 

Attachments None of the attachments came with it.  I'd love to get them, especially the bare floor brush and the squeegee.  But those will have to come at a later date!
