    National MC-622 Jet-Flo

It wasn't the budget model, it was 2nd from the top, the top model being the electronic model.. The base model was one speed. I've a video of my electronic one on youtube.

    Magic Jack

Forgot to mention.. I had a Magic Jack before the Ooma but it wasn't that great, not good enough to make me get rid of my landline.. The Ooma definitely is.

    Magic Jack

Get and Ooma phone set. You've probably seen the ads on tv... It works great. #1 rated phone service by Consumer Reports. I've had ours now for about 2 years.. Had my Bell landline number switched over to it. It costs about $4 a month for the basic service which still has a lot of features...

Thrift store find of a lifetime!

Nice find !! I bet everyone knows that feeling, I sure do, of seeing something in the distance and hoping and praying it is what you think it is.. Looks like a nice store too... but I can't quite see the red West Bend electric wok. There's gotta be one in there.. has to be, it's thrift store law.

Vintage small Appliances and dishes collected over the years

Hi Mike.. I'll take a look thru some piles but I don't think I have any Eureka floor tools other than for the couple of Eureka canisters I have. Speaking of model trains I've kept a few pieces from my train set from when I was a kid. When we had a small acreage before I retired one of my dreams...

Vintage small Appliances and dishes collected over the years

Sorry couldn't edit my previous answer above Finally someone shows up in London. I'm in Sarnia and another avid collector wee Davy is in Stratford. I've somewhat stopped collecting, got way too much stuff now but if you're looking for something in particular speak up.. I may have it or an extra.

    Was Bissell Originally Bissell's?

I never noticed the S on the end of the name before, good question. That one is in particularly bad condition. I wouldn't have bought it either.. They show up quite often. I had one years ago that looked like it had just come out of the factory

My Review of the Shark Rocket Powerhead

I think Miele had something somewhat similar years ago though I can't remember the name of it to look up.. Someone will know.

My Review of the Shark Rocket Powerhead

Neat, It reminds me of the old GE electric carpet sweeper and the battery B&D one. I did look it up online and a guy has a youtube video posted.. It seems rather noisy though.. That would be a turn off for me although it's very tempting, can't stand noise.

    A terrific Christmas present!

Love it. We had one as well for years and years and years , heck I think it's possible we may have even brought it on the move from Calgary back in 06. Anyways it finally ran out this past summer and my sister got us another one from Costco nearer to where she lives. .. We don't have one around...

    metropolitan professional canister vacuums

I've always liked those Metro vacs... very retro looking and the chrome canister is really sharp. Too bad they don't have more of a presence in stores, made in America and all. I have a small metro commercial Vac'n Blo (hold the giggles) with the shoulder strap and a carry handle. Its great for...

    Ahh roomba

gave up on mine because the long dog hair would get wound up in the wheel axles rendering it pretty much useless at our house.

    Maytag Satellite

The constant banging on my feet and legs because of the short hose was very annoying the one time I used mine.. so back in its box it went. Otherwise it's a decent vac,

    The Waring Futura 1000 NT-15 1249 Blender

The Futura models came out in the the early thru mid 70's . That particular one was the top of the line model. The Custom series were in the mid to late 60's with the boxy shaped motor base like this

Is this a good coffee maker

I bought one of those a couple of years ago.. After a few uses the grinder started clogging up and then failed so I returned it for a refund. They had a different version before that one with a spin type grinder which worked better but even that one only last maybe 3 years before it conked out...
