    Hello! And my new Prolux

Replacement motor Question for anyone who knows... I have a Regency Series upright. It's a nice machine, but it lacks really strong airflow from the suction motor. I'd like to upgrade the motor rather than just get a more powerful model. Is there a more powerful motor that I can put in my...

    Aerus carbon prefilters

Bags I have been using synthetic HEPA bags from evacuumstore.com. They have these HEPA bags to fit the Type C, Type U (upright)and Type R. I have given up on paper bags in all my vacuums. The synthetic type bags filter far better than paper, breath better (aka air flows much easier then through...

    Sanitaire SC899 Video

Well done. I just wanted to let you know that I watched your video and really enjoyed it. It was kinda hypnotic. Do you prefer the Wide Track Sanitaires over the regular 12" models? Can't wait to see what you do next. Thanks, Justin

Kirby Council Winner 1981 Golden Trophy Question

What I've seen The Kirby dealer I worked for in the 1990's had two golden Kirbys. One was the Tradition with brown bag and rosewood handle-fork label. The other was the Heritage II. I never saw the Tradition used, but they did use the Heritage II to vacuum the inner office. A golden Kirby is on...

    What is my birth kirby?

1972 As AdamBomb can attest, I am a Classic 1CR. I have always like that model...but I prefer the D50.

Oreck Crystal Aroma II room freshener

YES!! I, too, love the smell of Oreck Crystal Aroma II. I like that it smells sort of soapy. Very clean. Too expensive to use often, but I do use it on special days. That reminds me, it's time to go down to the Oreck Clean Home store a few miles away and get another canister of it.

Where can I get an Oreck with high RPM like this one?

Oreck 2 speed That's one of Oreck's two speed models. The speed control is inside the handle grip. If you want an Oreck like this just check ebay for a 2 speed Oreck upright. I hope that helps. Justin

desirable metal Electrolux canister for upgrades

Question I have a 1205, needs a complete overhaul, but if I wanted to replace the motor...what motor should I use? I'd like a little more power, but if there is only one motor that will fit, I guess I won't get more power. HELP!!

did electrolux-aerus ever use lamb motors

1205 motor If I need to replace the motor in my 1205 can anyone tell me what new motor would be best. I love my 1205, but it's not the most powerful of vacuums I've used. I also have a 6000 that has lots of power. Is there a motor similar in power to the one in my 6000 that would fit in the...

"SUPER RARE 10F1 1950'S ROYAL MINIATURE KIDS VACUUM CLEANER"

1920's Way back in the day, say the 20's, I seem to recall that Royal had a Junior model that was basically a very small nozzle on a smaller bodied upright. There might have been a small bag too, I can't remember for sure. I think they offered it as an option for people with area rugs or who...

    Picking up a nice Royal

Use Hoover Type A bags... I found a Royal model 4000 at the local thrift store several months ago. I feel it's doing a better job deep cleaning my carpets then my GSix Kirby. However, I have come to prefer synthetic HEPA bags in my Kirbys, Electroluxes, Sanitaire/Eurekas(st type bags) and the...

    Sanyo Upright Bagless Vacuum

I sold those I sold those Dirt Hunter Sanyos in my vacuum shop. 1999 to 2002. My sister-in-law bought one and used it till 2008 and replaced it with a lower end Dyson. I was not really impressed with them, being I'm a Kirby and Lux man. They did not sell very well, but then again my shop didn't...

Anyone else have this issue with new Aerus bags?

HEPA Type R bags There ARE synthetic, HEPA bags for the Renny/Guardian Luxes. I found them I ebay fairly cheap.Or just go to evacuumstore.com, that's the maker of these bags and where I get my synthetic bags for my 1205/Silverado/6000 using Type C bags and my Regency Series upright using Type U...

Anyone know What vintage Kirby this is from ?

It's not That's not from a Kirby, it's from a Hoover Concept One. Early 80's or late 70's if I'm not mistaken. Someone else will have to give you model number and actual dates of production.

    KIRBY AVALIR

No more gray I'm just glad it not YET ANOTHER shade of GRAY!!!! I was hoping for something of a color, say a red or green...blue even, but Basic BLACK will do for now. I'm also glad it's not that Beltless Monster from the Google Patent drawings, that thing was just plain awful. Attached Tool...

    Guardian Platinum overheating

Listen to Dan Countryguy, I'd listen to KirbyloverDan, he knows his Electroluxes. Also, carpet fluff is hell on vacuums. I would never suggest vacuuming a new carpet with anything BUT a 'dirty fan' upright like a Sanitaire or Kirby with dump-out bag set up. At least call your Lux dealer and ask...
