    My haul for the year

Hey Vacuumlanders! I have a link below to my pictures of my latest haul. I just bought out the remaining inventory of a vacuum store that went out of business. I got over 200 Electrolux Tanks, many or which are just bodies which have been stripped for parts. Plus, a storage unit packed full of...

    Electrolux Epic 6500SR low suction

fans or bearings Sounds to me that either the fans have been damaged or stripped out, or the bearings have gone out. Either would cause low suction and a lot of noise. I would recomend a new motor, much easier than repairing and old one and will last longer than a rebuild.

    Oreck Age

Justin I currently am an authorized retailer and service center for Oreck. And I have to agree the Oreck Corperation has really hurt their loyal dealers. I worked for a Franchise Owner before the big sell out a few years ago, Things really were a lot better then. I left him in 2009 sometime...

Help needed with my filter queen triple crown...

Easy fix Filter Queen used to make a rubber boot that went of the tip at the top of the container latch to correct loose latches. Alas, this item is no longer available. That being said I have found a good pair or pliers to bend the tip down just a little bit more works just fine.

    What are Oreck doing?

The Sanitaire design has been used for decades and re-labeled with so many different names its not even funny. Just through my general supply companies I can order the same vacuum with 4 or 5 different labels on it. I guess this is one simple design that works so well every company wants a part...

    Filter Queen advice

replace the motor You have the best designed filter queen already. The new models have very cheapened motors and power nozzles. The new high speed motors are poor quality and burn up within a few years typically, and the new style power head is such a train wreck it never should have left the...

Electric hose? Looks like you have an electrifies hose but I see a cord strapped to the outside. Did the internal wiring burn out or just the pigtail cord?

    Royal Power Tank 4000

Picture? Could you post a picture of it? The early royal power heads were filter queen designs. Depending on what is wrong with it there is a good chance it's savable. Honestly if the housing is still good I can get the rest of the components.

    recent vacuum sightings on TV

Wal-Vac Wal-Vac was a short lived brand of built in system also sold under the Black & Decker name. They used a smaller diameter pipe and proprietary inlet valves. The valves are even an odd opening size. I have seem about half a dozen installed in southern Delaware. To my knowledge they used a...
