    Bissell Powerforce In Commercial Settings

Vac shops do not sell Bissell because we cannot buy them as That's exactly it, Robert!   In Canada, if an independant store wanted (for some strange reason) to carry Bissell products, they'll find most are cheaper to purchase directly from a big-box store than Bissell directly, or to...

    Big Vac

It looks like a Nilfisk UZ934 to me. Your machine must be a private labeled version of the UZ934...

    Miele Rechargable Powerhead

In Europe, it's known as the SAB 110-3 due to the battery charger input voltage and plug. The actual powerhead (and its batteries) are identical and its sticker refers to it as SAB 100/110. The attachment is made by Wessel Werk and it actually has a very clever design compared to the generic...

    Miele Rechargable Powerhead

The model is SAB 100-3. Paul's experience is very common with that model, unfortunately. [this post was last edited: 7/6/2012-21:19]

Question about Aerus Vacuums and Cyclonic Suction.

All vacuum cleaners have some form of "cyclonic action", and that's regardless if they're bagged or bagless. In a bagged vacuum cleaner, it's created by the air entering the bag in a stream of high velocity and its force pulls the areas of lower velocity back into its stream. This process...

    I bought one also.....

While it does have a rounded appearance that may look similar to the Wessel Werk EBK 340, the Rainbow powerhead is in fact made in-house by Rexair.

    Hoover Insight

More models are coming... Three more models of the Insight are to be released soon that will feature brushless motors (what Hoover calls "MagnaTorque"). Two of those will have a LCD screen that will assist in routine maintenance of the machine, or assist in the diagnosis of the vacuum should it...

EU Nilfisk gs 90 with pn

Beautiful machine, Tommy! That powerhead looks something like a cross between an Osprey and a Tecnica. Was this actually made in-house by Nilfisk?   I, too, have a Nilfisk GS90 with the powerhead, but it's the standard North American Eureka Sweep N Groom with VG3 roller. I haven't had the...

    Hoover Insight

The MSRP of these machines is practically identical to the machines that inspired its creation, the Sebo manufactured Windsor Sensor.   I have noticed that some retailers have begun discounting these rather heavily, so I don't know if that's a good sign. However, I am interested to hear a...

    Electorlux Oxygen EL 6988

Well, in "your" book is, again, "your" opini I encourage you to spend some time working in the vacuum industry, then report back to us on your findings...   I'm done with this conversation, Koobam. Have a great day!

    Electorlux Oxygen EL 6988

How is it "stupid" to dispose of the machine once it has reached the end of its usable life and is not worth repairing? Also, why would I want to give away/donate a faulty machine?   You have assumed that I disposed of all my Electrolux AB machines. The only machine that was thrown out was...

    Electorlux Oxygen EL 6988

The Ergorapido is perfect for quick clean-ups around the litter box. The one feature I appreciate most is that it can be emptied using another machine. So, when I am using my central vac or Miele, it is very convenient to empty and there's no dust cloud!    The 12V Ergorapidos have a more...

    Electorlux Oxygen EL 6988

Oxygen 3 reliable? Ha! In my experience, the Oxygen 3 is the most repair prone of any of the Electrolux AB machines. Like you mentioned, the fuse blows frequently, but it's not designed to be replaceable. The "sumo board" that contains the fuse is one of four (yes, that's FOUR) separate circuit...

Any clue who is the manufacturer...

I do not see a photo of the vacuum, but... NSS makes the M-1 "Pig", Pacer 30, Outlaw PB and B/P. The Pacer 14, 18, 112, 115 UE are all made by Karcher.   As for wet/dry machines, NSS makes the Colt and BP Ranger series. The Designer and Bronco series are made by Soteco.

    Electorlux Oxygen EL 6988

Electrolux Oxygen w/ Sumo wands... That machine is my favorite Electrolux AB model, but be cautious of that hose, wand and powerhead.   The electrical connections in the hose, wand and powerhead neck tend to burn out quite easily. Usually, this occurs when the hose or wand is removed when...

What BRAND NEW vacuum do you want?

Re: Numatic George... I'm in Canada, but I adopted a Numatic George last year...   George is powered by a two-stage, bypass Ametek Lamb motor (Acustek series).  He's one of the few all-in-one machines that can do all three functions (dry, wet and extraction) well.   Outstanding in...

    Bissell Spot Bot

I am another member who has a Bissell Spot Bot that leaks... Like Michael's, mine leaks near the exhaust on the rear of the machine.   Upon opening it up, I decided it was not worth my time and effort to fix.  Its build quality is similar to something you would find in a Kinder Surprise...

what kind of belts dose a eureka smart vac take

Re: Belt Cost... The Eureka 4870 series Smart Vac's belt is made of kevlar, not rubber like most flat belts.   And yes, I definitely agree that these machines are amongst the best to come from Eureka.  Other than the normal consumables (...and the occassional handle release pedal), these...
