This is a video of my Brown Montgomery Wards Vacuum Cleaner made by Hoover. The guy at the vacuum store told me the motor does not sound normal. What do you guys think? Is there something wrong with the motor? The vacuum picks up like a commercial vacuum. I think it works fine in my opinion.

I have once taken the motor apart. The fan is actually in excellent condition. But I will make a video of it on without the belt. And then you tell me if it sounds ok.

The metal plate is tight on the machine. Like it does not move around one bit. So then, it is the right one. I will make a video of it on without the belt, and you will hear how it sounds.

If the body is chrome, then it was made in the 50s. The body looks chrome, so I would say 50s or higher. Though I am not so sure.
