    Latest Vac - Miele S8730

Looking at the user guide seems to come with a different powerhead to the US Hoover, my Mach Air cylinder has held up very well so far had it about a year and a half. I agree I've looked at the Sebo's and the powerhead is big, the UltraOne's is much more compact. Anyway nice Miele I must get a...

    Latest Vac - Miele S8730

It used to be easy to find cylinders with remote control handles but then they seemed to stop offering them! At least they seem to making a comeback, and I've just noticed on the Vax website they are now offering an Air cylinder with a powerhead!!! I really hope more do the same.

Re-Appearance Of The Fabulous Miele S4

That's very tempting, does the base S6 offer any benefits over this or is this the model to go for?

    Which Vacuums Feb 2014 UK

I've often wondered about those Bosch Bagless as Steve says they use a simple pleated filter in the dust container. They do get good reviews but I can't see how they won't loose suction very quickly due to the filter clogging, they do have a warning light to tell you when to clean the filter though.

    Hoover The One

I liked the look of the Discovery too would of got one of those as well lol loved the extra stretch hose they had on some of the versions. Glad I've got the Freemotion and Silent Energy boxed away.

    Hoover The One

Ugly I'd have to disagree I always thought The One looked very funky! Wish I'd been into vacs at that time I would have gone one and kept it new boxed away and I would the Triple Vortex.

Daily Mail: Weird world of the men obsessed with vacuum cleaners

Just watched the program, Immediately didn't like the fact it was turned into a competition, but I really should of gathered that from the title before I even watched it! Scotts mum was so sweet! Very impressive collections all three of you! Gareth maybe you should treat your wife to a hoilday! 😄

Daily Mail: Weird world of the men obsessed with vacuum cleaners

That's sad Gareth that they have twisted your words but I'm not surprised I've yet to watch the documentary. Just looking at the comments this morning I was expecting a lot more nasty ones but I don't think it's that bad, although CP0402's comments need reporting (I jest :p) Good work Chris!

    Dyson Hard

All that testing that dyson show on the DC44 being put through including constantly smashing the head onto a hard surface and then they say it's not strong enough for the new hard floor head!

    Vacuum for my mother-suggestions

I agree Beckham if this was on sale for a decent price I'd deffo get one, although the power rating is very high 2500W for the top version.

Vax Centrix 3 - No I'm not ill!

Another great job Sam looks new again! It sounds like it has a lot of suction on the video, if you don't mind the extra filter maintenance I've always found most single cyclone machines to be very powerful.

    Dyson dc54

Dyson cyclones are already very efficient the filters in mine stay very clean for a long time so it's hardly a laborious chore as it is! That said in a few years when they are reduced and better tested I might get one but never at that RRP! I suppose we will see a new version with the digital...

    Numatic Henry HVR200A

Can't believe that much dust and fluff accumulate under the metal sole plate on the floor head, I'm tempted to strip some of my floor heads down to see if they are the same. I'm sure the Henry will look good once you've finished!
