I suppose I should know this. But I don't..........

We got a pile of new [old] Dyson stuff in recently, and this was among it:

The colour suggests pre-DC07. The wheels suggests it is designed for floor use.

But from what model? With what specific purpose?

A photo of the underside is on the link below ( I don't think I can upload more than one here?)

I got mine with a DC03, although no idea if they did it earlier,or if it should have been with the DC03 at all! Both long gone now

There's an early Dysolv pack in my below link, maybe they also got sold seperatly with that, in which case they could have been around in the DC01 era. My one was Lavendar, so presumably came with a Zorbster DC04 originally.

Wouldnt like to use it with a DC03, the amount of powder left in the carpet afterwards must be insane

We had those over here sold with the dc07's. When I cleaned my church, I once cleaned an entire hallway and foyer with it. Did a fairly decent job and made the whole building smell clean for several days.

I didn't realise they had a suction outlet.

Dan, it's not technically a suction outlet. You took the handle off the cleaner and put the Zorb nozzle on the other end. Sprinkle the powder over the carpet and then use this to rub it in. A lot like the Duo-P Daisy.
