Latest Vac - Miele S8730

Looking at the user guide seems to come with a different powerhead to the US Hoover, my Mach Air cylinder has held up very well so far had it about a year and a half. I agree I've looked at the Sebo's and the powerhead is big, the UltraOne's is much more compact. Anyway nice Miele I must get a Miele I keep saying I will, did you post any pics of the new Vax you brought, I must of missed them if you did?

Well, that Vax performance floor to floor was so poor that its gone up in the loft now for long term storage. If I buy a pup - then I don't go showing it off on VL - it doesn't deserve the coverage. The Which report really put me off Vax as well with those damning verdicts on the Zoom, which, although it aint perfect, its not THAT bad.


I only want to have my decent bagged vacs on display now, and the Dysons and Vaxes have been banished to the loft room.


I could get 2 of the above S8730's - top quality German engineering for less than 1 cheap and nasty Malay made Dyson Dc54's - now hows that for a comparison. Dyson is rapidly pricing himself out of the market.
