A mystery for the sleuths here..

I believe the later uprights did. The issue on this is that there is no belt access hole on the front

A mystery for the sleuths here..

I recently picked up this Royal model 43 from Luke’s mini meet. It has a metal brushroll and no real way to change the belt other than hand strength. Also, only a stretchy white rubber belt will work, not a normal royal belt. Anyone have any info? I’m kinda thinking prototype given how...

    Electrolux UK - US - CA Cylinder/Tank Vacs Exhibition - 1949-2025

I have a couple weird ones I'll show soon. The cleaner you have marked as a red z55 is a Godfrey's rebuild Aussie only z40. Originally sold in the same skin as a UK 55.

    Shopping list for rugsucker

I've been to Jimmy's shop twice. Both times I left with more than I went for and he was nice and accommodating. If you are willing to spend some time looking through the stuff and are within a day's trip of it, I would say it is absolutely worth it.

    Peculiar Tellus/ nilfisk machines

Tellus was their old export name for a time. I adore that older machine! Would that be.. 30s? 50s?

New to vintage vacs, have three options, don’t know what to choose!

Welcome! Those are all the same machine underneath. It kinda just goes off condition, and which one you like the looks of the most. The Kirby rebuild program from factory I am fairly certain was recently discontinued for non-original owners, or at least they will only rebuild the 80s models and...

Buffing a Hoover to bare metal.

A collector named Mike Balda did a 28 this way awhile back. This is what the end result looks like

A recent find from Jimmy Martin, enjoy the before and after shots.

In Honor of US Armed Forces Day

A recent find that seems rather fitting. An Electrolux built in the Uk in 110v, made for US and Canadian military bases.
