    Hoover Constellation Modelo s3029

I found this at a vac store in Dover Ohio. I took it apart and I do think at least the motor was made in Mexico as the metal constructing it is a different material to the ones I’ve seen on the USA ones. It used a lot more mottled metal, I’m unsure what the name of it is but I’ve seen it used...

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

Kirby with integrated emtor- where did you find these images?! I built the twin fan Airway once. There was a small power increase, but the extra motor made it very uncomfortable to use as the center of gravity shifted. It would also tip backward off the landing gear. Big twin fan- Menominee...

    Vacuum collection pictures?

It’s mainly for in home demos. It is VERY MUCH a product of its time, circa 541 era. There is a section on bringing a piece of candy for the maid so she’d have a good impression of you and talk you up to other people. Not kidding.😂

    Royal prince bearings

Before you replace anything, take it apart, clean it, and apply oil directly to the bushings. The belt shaft spindle unscrews from the fan, I don’t remember if clockwise or counter clockwise. Then fan should remove and you can access the motor screws to open it. If it still doesn’t run well I...

    Royal prince bearings

These had bushings until the last few years of manufacture. Are there oiler screws on it? Notably there would be a slanted one on the handle mount.

    Hoover model 62

I have a few. Do you have the clip? $45 is crazy work. Most of the bellows for these rotted away years ago and the vacs were converted to another bag type.

    Farm Voltage Premier

I’m not totally sure as the watts are not stated. If I had to guess it was below 3 on both 32v machines. Another theory of mine is the 32v charger only trickle charges to a 32v battery. A few years ago when I had the eureka I did exactly that and wired a 32v laptop charger directly to the stub...

    Farm Voltage Premier

I did try that on a 32v Eureka I had. The amperage is way too low to power anything that big sadly.

    Vacuum collection pictures?

A few spots open for machines currently under restoration, and a couple needing restoration. A lot of my Eurekas have been sold, now the stains in the old carpet are more visible 😭

    Farm Voltage Premier

That is awesome. Lucky find!! They have bronze bushings, you should be able to just oil them and it should run better. Does it still have its motor shaft or was it cut/modified into a different tool? A friends Premier motor was turned into an electric sander..

    Farm Voltage Premier

Les- Wow where did you find that? Huskyvacs- I didn’t run it for more than about 5 seconds on AC. Making those sounds it couldn’t have been good. Consult an expert- I tried. I posted in the dedicated Delco Light Plant(32v people) group. I was suggested to build a rectifier but most were...

    Farm Voltage Premier

Went up to 50 volts ac which is supposedly the equivalent to 32dc. It didn’t like it, and unless jump started by hand it would only buzz. When hooked to batteries it starts right up.

    Farm Voltage Premier

I thought so but I’ve gotten a look at the 120v version and it is rated for both.. maybe it’s an amperage thing with my variac.. I have no idea This one doesn’t say Frantz on it, would it be a bit later?
