Welcome! What does the Arcelik look like? I have seen some based on GE products from the 60s and 70s.

The record I pulled it from doesn't list the D171 at all actually, but it does list something called D-174. I have never heard of such a thing, but have seen multiple confirmed D171 cleaners. I agree I think something is off with the numbers.. thatis not a 1934 design.

I will look for the pic later.. But the Dirtsearcher existed in yellow. I have seen two, I have no idea if for the export market though.

I recently picked up this Royal model 43 from Luke’s mini meet. It has a metal brushroll and no real way to change the belt other than hand strength. Also, only a stretchy white rubber belt will work, not a normal royal belt. Anyone have any info? I’m kinda thinking prototype given how...

I've been to Jimmy's shop twice. Both times I left with more than I went for and he was nice and accommodating. If you are willing to spend some time looking through the stuff and are within a day's trip of it, I would say it is absolutely worth it.
