Motor bearing on Electrolux Legacy vacuum

Stratmaster, I don't believe Electrolux ever intended those double stage motors to be serviced. They would just sell you and install a new motor if yours failed out of warranty. Nowadays though, you can't even get the motor seal new.

I suggest taking the motor apart, pulling the bearings off, and taking a look at the number stamped on it. Then go online to a bearing supplier and find either the same one, or one that's the same size. You can also try contacting Doug Smith, collector2 on here, as he used to be a service manager and trainer for Electrolux Canada. He would definitely know how to find those bearings!

Hello, I'm looking for the part number for the motor bearings on a Electrolux Legacy canister vacuum. Anyone have a parts list ?
I second Kirbylux. The bearing will have it's size stamped on the race. You'll need a magnifying glass to read it though. Any quality bearing the same size will work. When I was looking for bearings for an old Panasonic Jet Flo motor I was surprised to discover the exact same size bearing is a popular front wheel bearing for quads.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I got the bearing off but can't read the number. I measured it and will try to find a couple on Amazon

Not Amazon. Buy bearings from a reputable company like Schaeffer Group, Nachi, SKF, FAG or Timken. Don't waste money on cheap Chinese bearings from Amazon. They won't last

Hmm....The most common motor bearings i've seen are 608 which are 8mm inner diameter, 22mm outer diameter, and 7mm width.
Do yours have a rubber seal on them? When I can't read the numbers i'll wipe the seals off and then use my phone to zoom in on the text on them. But if that fails and I don't have any suitable replacements on hand I take it to a nearby business who measures them using a caliper.
