The bagged models didn't sell in the UK. Only the bagless ones. Then in 2008 Hoover released the 'Octopus' a Chinese made Discovery that was bagless & had a remote control hose that stretched to twice it's length.

Not sure about the Electrolux, but the original cost (2001) of the DC04 and the Hoover you bought comes to £424. The DC04 new cost £246, so the same price you paid!


 


What I want to know is, who won the two Turbopower's and the PurePower?

Don't forget - that was a real public auction - open to the world to bid - they could have been bought by a wealthy foreign investor!

I bid £100.01 on the Z1701, and £246 on the Airstream, after watching Alex's video of it funnily enough


So, Alex now has 2 Airstreams and I have none.

he said he won the airstream., or perhaps he got the Z1710, the other Electrolux upright
