Probably no more so than anyone else's house. I love to collect vacuums (obviously), and I like to run them around the middle of the room. But actually 'cleaning' a room (dusting, furniture polish, edges, cobwebs), no thank you. Too much work and effort. I will if I have to, but I find no joy in cleaning - Laundry, dishes, rooms, or otherwise.

hard to say

I think I'm a pretty clean person by nature, I don't like a lot of dirt and clutter. I will tend to run at least one vacuum every couple of days, but like Tom, I give the floor a once over, I don't spend hours cleaning. Every once in a while I will use a dusting brush and dust my windows and cabinets, and, call me crazy but sometimes I will just take out one of my vacuums and turn it on and listen to it run for a while without even connecting the hose. Every vacuum in my collection is a canister of some kind since I don't like uprights.

Hard to say but...

I can vacuum 3000 square feet of various flooring types once every 3-4 days with 3 humans and 1 dog and only get a palm full of fibers/dog hair combined with a tablespoon of fine dust.

I suppose that can be considered clean?

I think so yes

I think so yes, i can use my Compact C9 vacuum cleaner and do the rugs carpets upholstery curtains ect get my house clean and spot less in a few hours id say 3 or 4 .
Whit me and my mom the cat and all the walking in and out of the house, every few days ill get the vacuum out and clean. As a collector i love using my vacuums and cleaning or just getting one vacuum out to do a few pass on a carpet for fun shakes im a cleaner for sure yes so my house is clean .I make sure to use my vacuums and i mean all of them during the month il run all of them to keep them in good shapes i like to rotate .

I ilke the vacuuming--but NOT the other home cleaning chores.Only do them when it really needs it.I like lawn mowing-think of it as vacuuming a giant carpet-but the other lawn chores have Kevin-a lawn service guy do those things. Also I break out badly from poison Ivy-it doesn't bother Kevin a bit-he justs grabs the vines and pulls them down and puts them in his waste trailer!Barehanded no less!

My house is a total trash pit. I like working on the machines but I HATE cleaning house. Fortunately, I live alone and my cats don't seem to mind.

Mine has been called, well, at a young age I god dubbed the queen of clean by the family, so draw your own conclusions? Its a joy to me still to cover pretty much every inch, when I can

I.....

Have been using a Dyson Slim every couple of days because it is handy. I keep a Lux tank in the front closet as well as a Rainbow D4.

The Lux is fitted with a hepa (cut to fit) bag or else I will not use it. It and the Rainbow are pulled out once a month to vacuum and dust.

Thermal back curtains are taken down and washed.

I think collectors run the gambit. I see pics posted of vacs everywhere in smaller houses. Even I couldn't live that way....I have to be able to get all the dog hair or it drives me crazy. Especially when I send my grandson off to daycare with dog hair on his clothes. I guess that's what really drives me to clean....but I don't do it often enough. When these dogs pass I'm done with animals......had them all my life, but I need the change back to sanity.

vacuuming is a small fraction of cleaning

"Cleaning" is too generic. Vacuuming primarily reduces dust volume in an area. As you sit down in your favorite chair, you are shedding 3,000,000 skin cells per hour. If you are moving around, up to 25,000,000 skin cells per hour. Add animals, and you end up with a technically dirty environment very quickly.

Cleaning is reducing soil and germ loads from environmental surfaces - sinks, counters, toilets, walls, doors, cabinets, etc. Cleaning a house is not the same as cleaning a hospital patient room. It's all a matter of perspective.

I have been in cleaning management for 23 years. Vacuuming my home was always a necessary evil with having two cats and a German Shepherd. Now that I have some fun vacuums, it's no longer a chore.

My grandson is into it now at three. He has his 'own' vacuum which is an Elux wand with a floor brush. He runs it around while I vacuum...usually in the same area. He provides the motor noises...works for me and it's really cute.
