Hello,

I’m looking for a vintage Hoover convertible, something in a bright fun color with the light on the front. I am an appliance collector, so condition is key, looking for something that is complete, original, working and if it has the box and paperwork that’s a plus too.

"--Convertibles--"

I have dozens from Mo 31 & 65 to plastic base with big hood, various condition including very good. Also vintage vacs 1920s--70s.You mention you are an appliance collector.I also have small Hoover appliances, mostly kitchen,Cuisinarts, blenders, mixers,Nutone Food Center, fans including early 60s Sears that can have shelf above or below fan,ETC.Also GE wall fridge(not working)and matching DW,wall oven & cooktop. Most need to and WILL GO.I do have 1 person with serious interest in GE appls. Most others first come, first served.Best to choose and pick up in person as at least 7 collectors have done this year.Best to call(I dislike TXT).

1950 Hoover model 70 with all attachments

I would be happy to sell this to a collector who appreciates this vintage vacuum. I was looking for a collector for the past few months.

I also have documentation from a letter my grandmother sent to my mom when she sent her this Hoover Jan 12, 1950!

Let me know if you need more information or need to see more photos.
Thank you,
Karen

1950 would be a Red model 29 Hoover, or possibly a blue model 62 Hoover. Not clear on the dates for those. This would have been made in the late 60s - early 70s. I don’t remember the actual years, they are somewhere on the VL convertible list thread. Maybe the documentation is for a different Hoover?

The model 70...

Launched in 1964!

Model 70- 1964-1966. Delft blue and Pearl white with silver trim. Most models have large medallion
last models have small stick on.

Thank you all for the replys

I am considering the green model 66 that myvacsrock is selling, we actually discussed on facebook earlier in the week. Im specifically looking for something that is in "found" condition, as I enjoy fixing appliances myself. However if I cannot find anything I may "pull the plug" on myvacsrock option

I got a vacuum

so over a week ago, I found a Hoover model 704 on craigslist, and the seller actually put down the wrong phone number so I wasnt able to get in contact with him. Luckily I emailed him as well. I picked up the 704 and now its time for a restoration. Not sure If im going to mess with repainting the body (it has 'character') Im going to stop by my local vacuum repair shop for a new belt and other needed parts. Im on the hunt for an original bag, so if anyone has one for a model 704 let me know! The vacuum works, but needs to be serviced. I already started cleaning it a bit
