I saw that one a couple days ago.....a LOT further gone than anything I'd want to work on. The motor sounding weak is enough to make me wary of it. Granted it's probably brushes, I still wouldn't want to have to put THAT much time into a machine! If I had more time to put into it, I'd love to take something like that on....

Kirby Model 2C

When all is said and done, I'm surprised this cleaner sold for as much as it did. I would have loved to have gotten my hands on it, but once again it went too high. I have a feeling I'm gonna be looking for a reasonably-priced pre-505 model Kirby for a loooong time....
