Wow, I don't think the Smart Vac aned Boss are ANYTHING alike! I guess it's a matter of perception. But I'm happy you got a new toy too. Does it have the paper pleated filter in the dirt chamber, or is it cyclonic?

It has three filters

One hepa filter on the exhaust, and two at the dirt cup. The ones at the cup are not the pleated paper cylanders.

Hope you like your new toy too. It's fun with new vacs, then the novelty wears off and they go stand in line when something new comes along.
