Well I thought ill'd do this post just to share why I collect and to see why other people do. So anyway,I've always been fascinated by vacuums i don't really know why but when i was about 11 ish i took apart an old burnt out vacuum just because i was bored and i was intrigued in how it worked so after a bit of fiddling i was just fascinated! But i didn't have the money to start collecting so i put that a side. Then one day (can't remember how old i was lol) i found the U2716 and this video will explain the rest:
Then as the video explains the U2716 sparked my interest in collecting so basiclly i just flew off into collecting! So after her(or him!) i just adore old vacuums ( juniors, TP's etc) and this is going to sound weird lol but i kind of felt sorry when i see these old vacuums on ebay all neglected and dusty in need of some TLC.I just love stripping it down and cleaning every inch of it,getting it back up to health and seeing it in my collection. Also I love thee sound of two motor uprights. Especially when the brush roll motor is whiny like this one:

Ill go into a little about my vacuums so, as of writing this i currently have 5 in the collection and im eying up 2 more lol Lets hope i get my hands on those!

So, i have a Turbopower "Boost" U2716 dated February 1993

a Junior U1012 dated August 1976
a junior U1036 (Still needs to be cleaned up,ill post a link when done) not sure on the date

a Senior 652A (Not sure on the date)
And finally a Numatic Henry HVR-200-A2 from new

Well, Thats about me and my collection lol I would love to hear why you collect anyway enough from me fornow Happy collecting!
