Hello
My grandma is looking for a good riccar/simplicity vacuum cleaner. Please tell me the details/ facts about the vacuums. BTW recommend both a canister or upright canister. To dysonman1 we might buy the vacuum from you. We are trying to find time to go to your museum.

I would...

Recommend the Simplicity Freedom! They don't weigh much, and have very good suction (From what I have heard) . My grandmother LOVES those lightweight uprights! (Simplicity Freedom, Garry, Oreck, etc...)

A little more information please

What type of flooring does Grandma have? Carpet/Bare floor? If carpet what type?
Is Grandma looking for a light weight or a full size machine?
How is Grandma's house arranged, will there be stairs that need to be cleaned and different floors to vacuum, or is the house all on one level?
What price range are you looking?

oops

The house is a one story home. She has a dust buster for the stairs. A canister would be great will the hardwood floors. A light weight upright will be good for the short pile carpets.

The new 2 speed model Simplicity Freedom uprights clean bare floors beautifully. With the flick of a switch, they can clean wall to wall carpet with tremendous suction. We have one of every model household vacuum that Tacony builds, right here in the Factory Outlet Store. If you want to visit the Vacuum Cleaner Museum, after the tour you can check out the entire line up. Turn them on, push them. We can even go to the factory floor and you can meet the Americans who build Freedoms for a living.

To Tom

That's sounds GREAT. We were going to buy it from you anyway. I have bought a simplicity jack from you in September of 2013. The almost Two years of having the vacuum it works better on my hardwood floors then my 3 year old dyson dc33. I have to say thank you vary for selling me and my grandpa both Great vacuums. my grandpa only buys made in the USA tools and small appliances which it is vary hard to find.
