For me it would be when I had to unblock the outdoor drain last week. It was disgusting!!! I used my earlex combi vac wet and dry vacuum. Now it's filthy and it stinks!!!
Well someone had to unblock the drain... All the water from the washing machine was flooding down the driveway!!
So what's your most disgusting mess you've ever had to clean up?

I never vaced anythng dirty tbh, but my DC07 animal smelled like vomit when I took the wand out!!

This is one thing I have always hated about Dyson cleaners. The hose is used to suck up all sorts of rubbish, and often some water gets up there too, and what do you have to do next? That's right, shove the very thing which you have to hold onto -the tube- back inside that filthy hose. I'm not made keen on the Sebo idea either, but at least that's the hose going inside the tube not the other way round, so it's not quite as bad.

^I agree, RE mattresses. It always amazes me how much I pull out of my bed, to say it's vacuumed every 2 weeks.

Back in topic, I really can't think of anything particularly disgusting that I've vacuumed up. I have had to clean cat sick off the carpet, but I used the George to wash it out, so that's not really the same.

Hi

<span style="font-size: medium; font-family: times new roman, times;">Hi, I can think of a few horrid things I've seen in vacuums over the years but not that I have sucked up myself....</span>

<span style="font-size: medium; font-family: times new roman, times;">Both from my time at the Kirby service center and my own business. Both involving No1s and No2s. Esp if the vac had spent time in a care home. Staff seem to abuse vacs most of the time. If it was on the floor up it went.</span>

<span style="font-size: medium; font-family: times new roman, times;">Same thing goes with some pet owners when they run over the urine patch on the carpet then all the dust sticks to the inside of the air ducts. And over time it just builds up.It's when the smell is so strong it gets to the back of your throat lol. Eewww!

James, i know what you mean, my mate who had a DC07 allergy used to use it to go over their dog urine patches on the floor (the dog was old and had lots of health problems!)
I once got it in for a service and the dog urine was all stuck in the bin/cyclone... I washed it all out but then I ended up keeping the dyson for my self lol!!! They got a Miele then but they wish they'd have bought a new dyson as the Miele isn't what they really wanted:(

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">Unclogging a toilet with my Sears Craftsman wet/dry shop vacuum.  DISGUSTING!</span>

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;"> </span>

<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">I used the 21/2" diameter hose & wands for that sick, filthy & disgusting job; then washed the parts with Mr Clean & Clorox after this chore.

Unclogging drains with a wet/dry shop vacuum is safer & more efficient than Liquid Plumbr.</span>

I bought a truck this last January and shortly found out afterwards that it looked like an animal (rat or similar) had made its home in every possible crevice of the vehicle; under the console, stuffing/insulation packed in the seat mount corners, leaves and crap wedged behind every plastic panel and more I found after taking some of the dash apart. No real crap, but man did it smell like it. Bunch of what looked like tiny acorn pieces and tree particles, all obviously used by the rodent as insulation. Used a shop vac, a couple large garbage bags and rubber gloves to clean that mess, took a couple days too.
