This is going to be the first time that i shampoo my carpets with the kirby, when I was looking for kirby shampoo on ebay I came across a few other dry foam concentrate from kirby, lindhaus and a few other brands so what is the best product that you have used and what is your take on the diy recipes that use a very little amount of dish soap? Thanks everyone!

Hi,

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Id use only genuine Kirby carpet shampoo and their other shampoo products.</span>

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I have used other foam products and found Kirby's own to be the best. </span>

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">Some of the cheap shampoo's aren't very good and some are ok for the price.</span>

<span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">Don't use DIY <a name="start_31357.346825"></a>recipe shampoo's

Yeah, the dish soap method is a bad idea! Kirby Shampoo is designed to crystallize and leave no residue. If you use dish soap you are going to be leaving that stuff in your carpet. Unless you go back over it with an extractor of some sort.
