Here's my thoughts. If rexair can redesign the E-series and come out with the SRX platform, then who's to say that Kirby can't redesign the G-series and come out with something new. The G-series, in my opinion, is beyond its experation date to the point where we can go to our local pawn shops and online sites and get them for pennies on the dollar, but yet kirby doesn't seem to realize it and they still continue to make G-series machines. Say a dealer goes to a home that already owns a kirby (more specifically a G-series) and the dealer tries and sell an avalir 2. Those people aren't going to really wanna buy it since its not much different than the machine they already have. My point is, if kirby is going to come up with a new model they better do it in the near future, especially with how modern technology plays into how we clean our homes these days. Don't get me wrong the G-series is a great kirby platform but it needs a lot of modification, which I've mentioned numerous times. Also the G-series isn't all that user friendly for people who are elderly. I just hope something happens soon because I'm tired of seeing the same recolored 2006 modeled getting minor changes here and there and then getting relaunched as a new model when reality its just a 2006 sentria changed up a bit. And if you really wanna get technical its just a recolored and renamed 1990s G3.
