What is the best Kirby model made?

D-50 or D-80

Much lighter and easier to handle than the wide machines, they clean just as well if not better also because the head is narrower the suction and airflow is concentrated.

I have a Classic Omega, a 562, and a Heritage 2. The Heritage 2 is my favorite and my daily driver.

My vote is for the Diamond Edition. I've had a Heritage 2 Legend, Legend 2, G4, and currently have an Ultimate G and Ultimate G Diamond Edition. I'm not crazy about the light gray color scheme but the Diamond Edition looks much nicer than the Ultimate G. The 2 speed switch is a wonderful addition to an already great machine, and as others have said it makes easy work of cleaning small door mats or area rugs. Those who can't figure out how to use the Diamond Edition properly probably shouldn't own a Kirby, maybe they'd be better off with a cheap vacuum from Target. The Tech-Drive also seems more refined on the Diamond Edition than on previous G-Series machines. I love the looks of the new Avalir but I wouldn't trade my Diamond Edition for anything!
