I thought someone mentioned that a few test market cities were going to receive some of the new model in April? It's almost June. Of course Kirby has been known to delay a model release until existing supplies of the current model are depleted. Any clue, anyone?

Wasn't the introduction of the new Kirby model going to be delayed until next spring?Sometimes the dealers will sell the older models at a discount over the new one.I had this when the G6 came out-the dealer wanted to sell me a G5 at less than half price. So far my dealer hasn't called me.He was going to call me when a new model comes out.

I would suspect that the introduction of the radically different Avilier would be delayed until the supply of Sentrias was drastically reduced. THAT will be the cue, when production of the Sentria stops, that the new model is due to appear.

The patent office has two major stages of patents that a product owner can control, the first is the application and the second is the production release which states all the information that the patent protects and is typically sought out before a product hits the markets. At this point the production release has not been sought out, now sometimes a manufacture will not apply for these and just allow the product to go out.
