floats really well even on my thick carpet the escutchion plate around the hose entry with Hoover Constelation on was a bit worn so i hand painted the white bit and it looks ok although not perfect
is all i have at the moment i bought the hose conector on line and the hose came from a Hoover junior that a friend gave me it came with two hoses so one came in handy for this .Dont supose i will ever get the right floor tool so i was thinking of spraying a black modern floor tool with the pip fitting pink to match i have two Hoover wands somewhere so its just the upholstery tool and a floor nozzle
Our U.S. Connie that tilts does so to accommodate a tool rack that snaps on the back.It really has nothing to do with tilting the bag, etc.
I have 3 of them. One is missing its rack.
The Connies had a rack in America? I didn't know that, though I would say that it would probably be impractical due to the preponderance to bang into walls etc...
You have done there Anthony, and the pink is really not a bad match at all. keep your eye on ebay, those combo floor tools do turn up from time to time
a good idea i suppose but wouldnt it kind of defeat the nice streamlined effect .I personally dont like on board tools but if the connie had to have them with just a simple change in the design they could have gone inside the machine what with all that wasted space around the motor thus preserving the atractive look of the machine
you think it would have been great if the Constelation had been a little larger say the size of a space hopper imagine as a 2 year old seeing that floating across the floor towards you.
