here is a sunbeam challenger found at a house sale in original box for 5.00 the motor bearings are bad though. but I can fix that my self.

hoover dimension 1000 made in 1988 found it in a thrift shop for 6.99 hose has bad spots. a hoover runabout (spirt) made in 2/1994. I think it's a kmart model last of the spirt run. paid 10.00

Nice finds. I especially like the Orange/Red Eureka canister vacuum.

I never knew Hoover made a Spirit in those vivid colors. That must be the Miami, FL edition. LOL. (my attempt at humor) :-)
 
found more today

went back to a house sale I went to on sat, did not see much but some westinghouse tools and hose in a closet in the bacement. so I tought I would go back today and look better in the closet, and try to buy the tools. wel I looked better in the closet and found the vacuum to. now I have two of them. its in ok shape a little rust on the inside. it still works good. for 2.00 I could not go roung. I hope to clean it up a bit on monday.

looked in the upstairs bathroom in the closet

found this compact with tools and book and bags. for 2.00 also. works good but needs a full tune up and re paint. also found a lat 50's or early 60's regina floor buffer + a box full of brushes for it for 2.00 also.

Chris, what good luck you have! What great finds. Some of those older Pa and NY towns have some hidden treasures.

Great Finds, Chris!!

I especially like the Westinghouse! I have an SC-1 Cannister, hope to get a few more Westinghouse machines in my collection eventually.
