Another part of the Electrolux AF found in the hallway closet. What I thought was a Bissell carpet sweeper was a carpet sweeper labeled Electrolux thick on one side and thin on the other, maybe for the carpet that your were using it on. I asked my mother if she purchased it from Electrolux and she said that when she purchased the power nozzle the summer after she bought the Electrolux AF, told her neighbor about the power nozzle and then she also purchased the power nozzle the next day. The Electrolux man gave that to her for referring the neighbor to him. The Electrolux carpet sweeper is the same color as the AF cream & gray with a cream bumper. I asked her if she ever used it because it looked new, used it once and put it in the closet because she felt that it was hard to push on thick carpets and didn't work that well. I my self, didn't know that Electrolux made a carpet sweeper, or maybe Bissell made it and Electrolux put their name on it. Any Thoughts about this?

Your Grandma's closet is like an archaeological site with lots of fascinating surprises emerging for all of us to scratch our heads over. If anyone here would know anything about this carpet sweeper it would be Rucksucker.

"-carpet sweeper-"--Don't think it was Bissell, maybe Wagner? I may still have one that matches the AF and in 60s there was one with early Gs.This was one of a few 'trade' items over the years. It could be added to the contract and then that amount subtracted for a trade in allowing the salesman to get full commission for the vac and customer getting a useful item.Or as above a salesman could use that or a pack of bags for referrals.

Also found in another closet, a Electrolux garment bag hanging in the closet containing several wool items and a fur coat. Also on the shelf was a never used in a unopened box, another garment bag. In the back of the closet I found the origional box that the Electrolux AF came in, containing several winter blankets used for storage new in their sealed packages that must be forty years old with Grand Way Department store tags on them. Hoping to find the origional box that the power nozzle came in. Lets hope!
