Well after looking at the Vorwerk Kobold for a while and resisting having one, and looking at adding another SEBO to my Felix I decided to have a demo of the Kobold VK150 which led to a purchase!

I am impressed with its performance and the range of tools and cleaning heads that come with the machine. One that I love using is the vac and mop head (SP530), cleans and buffs high gloss floor tiles surberbly. This is a new head attachment which has only been out in the last few years I believe and can be used on some of the old Kobold models. The dry cleaning powder (Kobosan) is very good too. It's very lite to lift and in use too. Very nimble getting into tight spaces and corners the swivel joint on the cleaning heads are very flexible/manoverable! I've attached a picture of the main unit.

I still love my SEBO Felix so won't be letting that go for sure and SEBO as a brand. Suppose you can say I've added another brand to my list so to speak. I will be adding another SEBO to go with my Felix in the future.

Very nice looking vacuum, and still quite sebo esk looking somehow, especially with the dog leg floor head. The rhymes.

I do love SEBO's, and the felix is my favourite vacuum. Just does everything so well.

I do like your white tiles!

Thank you oliveoiltinfoil, it certainly is very SEBO Felix est design. The only different is the weight. Like what you did there!

Same here I do love SEBO's especially my Felix great vacuum never had any issues in 7 years of ownership either. Glad to hear you like SEBO's and that the Felix is your favourite too.

Thank you, they are a devil to keep clean as they are high gloss ones! Although the Vorwerk mop and vacuum head makes it more easy now!

Lovely vacuum, Jon!

Are you going to make a video? The problem with most of the Vorwerk videos on You Tube is that very few show off the vacuum without jangly American music and plucking guitars in the background. I have yet to hear what this vacuum actually sounds like in proper use.

It does look rather lovely. How much did it cost you in the end?

Thank you sebo_fan.

I will do, I've already made a few short ones of the dry cleaning system brushing it in and vacuuming it up. Want to do one of the just normal vacuuming including some of the tools/heads too! I know what you mean there isn't any as such. Hopefully I can show what the vacuum is really like! I will try and show the vac and mop head too!

Thank you it does doesn't it, nicely made too. For the full package (the complete cleaning system) which I went for it came to £1500! Quite expensive but so far I'm impressed. Like SEBO I think both are understated as brands and vacuums cleaners.

My videos all feature the sound of the vacuum apart from two where I added a soundtrack for entertainment/comedy purposes and for the two vacuum videos that featured music, I did a main review which included the original vacuum noise.

I would very much like to try a Vorwerk, but I object that the only way I can get a new one, is to have a stranger come into my house to demonstrate it. I would like to have a few videos on my channel of the Kobold which may help to encourage people to seek out a home demo for themselves, but unless I get a loan model, that's very unlikely.

Your videos sensotronic are fab to watch very informative but fun too. I think vacuum manufacturers should pay you to do their online user guide videos or troubling videos as you would make them more interesting to watch.

I know where you're coming from sensotronic as I've been looking at the Vorwerk Kobold for a while and debated to have a demo or not as I wasn't sure about a stranger coming into my house. It took a while but I went ahead with a demo. I'm glad I went ahead with the demo as it was great to see the vacuum and the full cleaning system in action in my own home to see how it performs and how I would use it in my own home. They are very friendly people no hard sell or being pushy. The product tends to sells its self so to speak! You can have demo parties where they will come and do a full demo in your home to a small group usually 4 people or just yourself and you can recommend friends and family they can demo the system too. That's both for owners and non owners of the Kobold can have these demo parties.

It would be great if they loaned you one to make a few videos sensotronic to put on your YouTube channel for people to see, like you say it would help encourage people to book a demo, I agree with you there. I take it you have asked them!?

I'm sure you can buy direct from them without a demo not fully sure.

It is quite a lot of money for a vacuum cleaner Marcusprit I did think about it but decided why not go for it. I don't think I've ever vacuumed stairs and upholstery so quick or vacuumed and mop tiled floors so quick either plus the results I see from it.

No. In Europe, and the UK at least, that is 7 Sebo's. Not everyone lives in the states :)

Beautiful vacuum cleaner, the more I look at it. It has a brushless motor, only a couple of vacuum have them, to my knowledge only Dyson although doesn't some of the rainbows have them, or am I imagining it?

If you want I will drop hints to Vorwerk for you as well!!

I know what you mean marcusprit that did cross my mind a few times!! Thank you.

Miskini in the UK and I think Europe too they use the Party Planning Demo based on recommendations from owners of friends and family who may be interested in a demo or new customers who request a demo off their own back. They don't do door to door sales or sell them in stores all done in the comfort of your own home via a demo. They have been to the Ideal Home Show and Grand Design shows in the UK in the past as well. I personally don't think it would sell in a store not just because of the price but you wouldn't get to see all the tools etc..

It comes in 5 packages from just the basic vacuum with the standard power brush head which is package 1 up to package 5 which is the full system the one I went for. If you buy the other packages you can add the other cleaning heads, accessories etc later.
