Vintage Royal: Five-Hundred Bucks!

Help Support VacuumLand:

According to both the instructions and the wiring schematics, this is from 1983-84 (the schematics read 6/13/83 and a revision date of 10/28/83; while the instruction book was printed 6/84).

Still, if he wants $500 for it, I'd suspect this example to be the most complete.

I agree with Charles...

He appears to be either an idiot, totally misinformed, or the most extreme eternal optomist. I choose door number one.

More likely, ....

(And/or hopefully,) Morgan has nailed it; perhaps it was a typo. If not, I refer back to door number one.

Yeah, I like Royals and I think they're worth their price but... that is a pretty new prince and they aren't exactly rare...

I have a Prince, in burgundy. Its great for cleaning up the white mess left behind by my pussy, but I find I have to empty out the bag after each use to maintain its performance. Perhaps the '9' key on his keyboard sticks.

I sent the seller a message yesterday questioning the price. I told him I didn't think it was worth much more than $10. I received a reply today and he asked if I would buy it for $11. Maybe he was being sarcastic, but isn't that kind of backdoor offer against Ebay policies?

Royal Prince

I also Think these little handvacs are great little machines. I have three of them and they are good for quick pickups and Dachsund dog hair all over the velvet furniture..

I have one as well [and have had several others over the years, including one branded "Regal"], and agree it's one of the best hand vacs ever.
