Vintage Fairfax Straight suction canister vacuum. Comes with all you see, which includes a complete set of manuals. The instruction booklets also describe how to use the conversion kit to water vacuuming, like Rainbow. It’s missing the carpet tool. Runs strong and very quiet, and has good suction for a vacuum of its age. Asking $75.00 as is. Can ship from the Philly area. contact [email protected]

Love that machine Michael. Wondering why the Silver King screen is pictured with the Fairfax, as you can't use it on a Fairfax? The S-1 model Fairfax advocated using the machine with the disposable bag, OR without using the bag, simply by using the flat filter (like a Silver King but without the screen). Very nice cleaner, in very nice condition. Good luck with the sale.

FairFax Canister Vacuum

I've been wanting to try 1 of these in my collection. I am especially interested to hear input from others who've used it as a wet vac to aid in steam cleaning or general shop spills. In general I'd just like to know how these compared to other models like it. Does this model offer an electrical line to use the optional powered bush roller? Did they offer 1 wired hose like Electrolux or is a cord along side the hose?

I've never used 1 in general a shop / store vac. How does it compare in suction power side to side to a Kirby or Royal in your guy's opinion (forum members)

how easy or hard is it to find accessories such as waxer or other floor care attachments?

Fairfax straight suction

Hi Kristopher, I really don't know much about the Fairfax. I do no that the water pick up is only to use on wet surfaces and not really to clean carpet, or at least this machine. If you are interested I'll sell it to you for $55.00 plus shipping. I believe that is a fair prices since it is in such good condition. Otherwise make me an offer.
