Here's a really nice Electrolux on eBay. It has the original hose, albelt a bit faded. But what makes it special is that it was never retrofitted with the bag ejection adjustment. Look at the photos of the underside -- no dial!
Unaltered LXs like this are kinda hard to find, because once the Electrolux engineers came up with the dial they would retrofit it onto customers' machines at no charge. Then when the E-Automatic came out, the upgrade was no longer done for free; rather, they encouraged customers to buy the newer model.
I wonder if there's a "Basement and Attic Key" tucked away inside the cord-plug compartment! Now THAT would REALLY be a find!!
