Well, despite COVID 19, etc.. preparations are being made for the next newsletter.
Now is the time to send ads, photos, stories, recipes, etc.
We will be spotlighting a well-known vac shop owned by one of our great members.
We're also starting a 'history of vacuum companies' , starting with the first: Hoover.
We'll update the roster, as, we've gotten many new members since the Holiday issue came out.
The V.C.C.C. stands for The Vacuum Cleaner Collectors' Club. It is a registered corporation, registered, and registered with banks. IT is allowed to be recognized as [ The V.C.C.C.] Keeping things correct and legal.
So, get ready for a beautiful Summertime newsletter.

Great news!

I just spoke with Kim Jo, and she's very eager to use her creativity by helping with the next edition. I'll get the past 2 copies to her just as an idea . No doubt, she'll add her touches, and it will be wonderful. We will be spotlighting a great vacuum shop in it as well as many other great things.
So...... start getting YOUR ideas, pic, ads, articles, tips, recipes, etc ready.

Well , a copy of the last two issues

went to 'Kim Jo' yesterday, so she can get an 'idea' of what they've looked like.We already have a few wonderful news stories, clips, a spotlight on a great vac shop, owned by one of our members, some neat ads, the historical beginning of an iconic vacuum company, (The Hoover Company), a few recipes, cleaning/restoration tips, etc.
It will be different, fresh, and fun. Kim Jo is a wonderfully talented woman. I'm dying to see what this issue will look like when it's done.
So, keep sending things, as the window will soon close.

We'll be looking into the history of other

vacuum companies, as well. I'm not sure if the next one will be Electrolux, Eurerka, or Kirby. I know Bill Edstrom will have the correct history for Kirby. I'll also be contacting Kirby for assistance. Electrolux is on the list , too. There are 2 local dealers I'll be contacting as well.

Amazing that

the newsletter is rapidly coming together!!!
There are some very neat things in it.
Before you know it, it will be at the printer's office. Then....... uhuh, we'll be working on the next one.
This time, we focused on the beginning of The Hoover Co, being that it's birthday is in August.
We'll focus on a different vacuum company in the next issue.
Which one will it be?
Open to your thoughts.

Late

Looks like I'm a bit late on replying, but the owner of this vacuum shop was a dealer for royal, and still is. When he was a kid he was very fascinated with the Royals, and now he owns two shops. One shop is in Vacaville, California, and his other shop is in Fairfield, California, which is the bigger of the two. He's got a bunch of 80's 90's and 2000's vacs that are rare and new in the box. I am hopefully about to buy a Dirt Devil Ultra MVP from him. The owners name of the shop is Tom Matthews. His website for both shops is: http://www.allinonevac.com/ . They are dealers for Sanitaire, Simplicity, Dyson, Sirena, Hoover, Lindhaus, Royal, and Carpet Pro. I don't know if he collects or not, it seems like he doesn't. But the shop prides them selves on great customer service. If you check out the website you'll probably get even more information.

Well, a few more tidbits,

a little refining, and our Summer issue will be at the printer. Kim Jo has done a stellar job. She takes the smallest idea and does fab things. I can only imagine what the Christmas "Holiday" one will look like., We'll also be focusing on another vacuum company for that one. Not sure which one, yet.

Well, it is just about ready to print!!

Just a few 'tweaks' and, it's a 'go'. Many thanks to all who gave me ideas, suggestions, articles, recipes, etc. I think our members will be pleased.
We just got ANOTHER new member. Well, he WAS A member, years ago. I'm thrilled to welcome him back. "Welcome home, Marty"!!!!!

funny you mention the newsletter... I was on the phone with Sam Addison the other day and he STILL hasn't received his Christmas issue or his pillows. He had said that he mentioned it to you on a few occasions and that you had mentioned to him that it would be getting to him one way or another and according to him those few times it was mentioned, was in the last few months.
